we had a bit of a manioc feast last week, days before boozysoozy left for australia on her adventure with chandrika. we dug out, washed up, cut in slices and fried the manioc from garden and had with a lot of rum and coke. it was fun and delicious. made even better because i actually knew where the manioc came from and i knew exactly how it was cared for. in an effort to keep the household healthy, our edible garden is completely (and obsessively) organic.
