vesak is great. i love everything about it.i tried to make a vesak pandol but failed horribly because it just kept coming apart. so i bought a frame from a 10 year old (who apparently CAN keep a pandol together) for fifty rupees and covered it with paper. it was fun but took me almost 4 hours and a bucket load of sweat to complete. today we hung it over a light and my god, it was worth the effort. i'm posting a couple of pictures of my quiet vesak at home, because it made me very happy.
